While Atomic UAS may have launched in 2024, we have years of experience in both drones and training. In fact, the company founder, Bobby J. Mullinax began training adult learners in 2010 in high-risk and high-stress situations as a law enforcement field training officer.
Since that time, he has amassed nearly 8,000 hours of one-on-one, group, and classroom style training and has provided drone related training for multiple state associations and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Get to know the father and son team that’s behind Atomic UAS
Bobby J.
Bobby J. Mullinax began flying drones recreationally in 2015 with Christian. His interest in the new hobby took a professional turn and he began mapping crash scenes with drones in 2018. After spending 15 years in law enforcement, he decided to pursue a full-time career in drone piloting in 2021. In addition to Atomic UAS, he regularly flies large scale drone mapping missions.
Christian
Christian began flying drones at the ripe old age of "8" after getting a toy drone as a birthday present. Now a rising high school Junior, he enjoys Fortnite, computers, super cars, and watching the Dallas Mavericks. At Atomic UAS, Christian performs quality control checks on the website and maintains the learning management system and automations.
